VOTE BY MAIL
If you can't go to your local election office to vote, you can register to vote my mail. You don't need to be out of the country, or area or have any reason to apply for a mail in ballot. You must apply for a Vote by Mail ballot up to 7 days before the election though. Click here for the form. The form has a list of where to send the application to in your county. After you send in the application you will receive a mail in ballot that must be received in your county clerk's office BEFORE the polls close on Election day.
That's a lot of mail going back and forth. Unless you do it very early, you should plan on going to the polls to vote. Also, if you register to vote by mail you cannot go to the polls and vote by machine for this election. No changing your mind at the last minute.
